Visiting all 30 MLB Stadiums
I have always been fascinated by baseball; it is a passion that I share with the rest of my family. Beginning in 2012, we decided to go to a game in all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums. We began with the 6 on the West Coast (the Dodgers, Angels, Padres, Giants, Athletics, and Mariners). The next spring we went to Chase Field, where the Diamondbacks play. Our second summer we decided to go to the Midwest and go see the Astros, Rangers, Royals, and Cardinals play in their home stadiums. For our third summer, we flew into Minneapolis, rented a car, and went to games in 8 different stadiums, the homes of the Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians, and Pittsburgh Pirates. On our fourth trip, we flew into Atlanta and saw the Braves play at Turner Field, then we drove down to Tampa Bay to watch the Rays play and then to Miami to watch the Marlins. For our last summer, we drove across the country and watched the Red Sox play in Fenway (and got to see Dustin Pedroia hit a bomb over the Green Monster), the Yankees in the Bronx, the Mets at Citi Field, the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park, the Nationals at Nationals Park, the Orioles at Camden yards, and the Toronto Blue Jays in the Rogers Centre. Finally, on our way back home to California we drove through Colorado and watched the Rockies play the Braves to cross the final MLB stadium off our list at Coors Field.
